My fifth blog on SL incredible journey

FIrst of all, you are right Professor Corrigan, I had to be careful when talking when talking to people on landmarks. I came across with a man who claimed himself to be a Computer teacher and asked me if i want to be his girlfriend, he said  he was looking for a wife in SL, this messages to be made me felt rather uncomfortable and in shocked to experience this extreme attitude when I was in Egypt landmarks. However, my most worthwhile experience was touching tiger which I would never want to come close to in real life as well as being able to stand on a hanged white beautiful swing which it made me dance when I touched it.

Another two landmarks I teleported were David Ramsey museums  and the other one but there were only just portrays and their profiles. I would like to conclude that

all of my five blogs, the second most excitement language learning place in SL would be Abyss Observation landmarks. Naturally waters brings me happiness and again to play around with living species underwater really thrilled me even more. I never want to leave this fantastic island. I could go visit a unique exploratorium which stays under the water where I have gained knowledges extensively on these adorable living creatures. Flying has to be another part of my most fascinated journey and dreams on SL. I wish I could really have a total freedom to fly and land anywhere I want in reality.

My forth blog experiences on SL

This time I was at University of Western California and Standard University, I mainly learnt the history of the universities.  At Western University of California, I was very shocked to see this huge Middle East billboard, it remained me of how much people can or can’t tolerate to how they badly they are being treated and how desperate they want to completely change their existing corrupted government in order to live in peace without bloodshed. I definitely admired a person who placed this meaningful object and I thoroughly thought it through and I think this piece of work can be useful of ESL learners, for example, describe what is in this picture and explain why there are these crowned number of people gather outside.  In addition, ESL students are going to be able to access to students history projects and how Stanford University established on notecards and from touching the pictures and posters all around the campus.

At University of Western California I went inside the hall, it looked like a place where student have graduation ceremony, I walked all the way to the stage where there was a piano so I sat and pretended to play piano. Once I flew out from this building I went near the sea I saw one person so I went to say hello and she asked me if I am new to SL and I said yes. I was happy to know that she is a member of SL  from 2009 also when was in other landmarks I found out that most avatars are familiar with all these fascinating destinations and have continued to play and be around SL for at less two years ago.

My third blog from Learn it town landmarks from Second life

My goal for Learn it town landmarks was to find out as much language learning for my ESL students as well as was expecting to experience different environment to EduNation and/or Virtlantis’, I must admit that this language learning location totally thrilled and impressed me. I love the beach personally but was being able to go underwater and playing and touching around with octopus and dolphins was the precious moment for me as it my real life I haven’t had any chances yet, it give me a sense of relaxation, I felt like I took a break from study and all the hectic and congestion traffic and/or crowned environment from the big city. In addition, I met male and female stands and they welcome me to this resident, I touch crawing verb, crying verb and sitting verb, I also visited the  petrol station

Imagine how wonderful it is to know that my students could sit by the firework at night gathering where they can sing, play guitar, learn English through exchanging ideas, make fun with each other as well as sitting outside to get breezing air and just really enjoy the wave sound and mammals in the sea. I promise to come back here I want my ESL students and friends to enjoy this incredibly ride beyond imagination virtual social 3D language learning interaction.

My second life's second blog

My second blog experience on languagelab.com web search, these virtual learning courses are just like learning in the classroom. Is this excellent and effective place to meet a lot of new people who are from all over the world which in real life we would not have had this great opportunity. Learning an online course obviously is much more fun than sitting in boring everyday classroom environment as the assessment from teachers are in real time study, students can be responded on their homework effort straightaway, exchange ideas with many avatars at once unlike classroom interaction where we cannot talk while professor are lecturing in front of the class. This online virtual learning course offer International languages such as French, Chinese or Spanish as well as the Aviation course who want to be pilots or traffic controller.  My finding from langugelab.com based on students feedback, they all said that their English skills have improved a lot compared to three-four years ago and they could learn more about other avatars cultures. I contacted the staff on languagelab as I want to find out how much does it cost to be part of this virtual learning journey and also if I could visit their landmarks in order to write my experiences further.

MY FIRST blog’s experience on Second Life

On my first experience on second life on my own, I decided to choose to teleport on EduNation as Professor recommended as well as ‘Virtlantis’, CALICO and EUROCALL landmarks. I added those people who were in charge of these language learning resources landmarks in order to be able to teleport and find out resources. On my first landmark EduNation, my goal was to find something to give me an idea on what I can use to teach ESL students. I walked around and found posters which I could and could not click on, some of them I would need to buy but sometime the price was too expensive and it wouldn’t let me buying it and some posters asked me to keep or dismiss the information as well as the coffee machine where I could buy for example, Espresso or Chocolate drink. I supposed there might be more hidden language resources but I did not seem to be able to find those out but I will ask Avatars when I see them around next time when I teleport back and I will also ask professor Corrigan to give me advice.  In my conclusion on my own tour on Second life, I discovered that this location can suit my ESL learners when they need to study individually, in a group or even a place to meet new avatars students/ or other avatars with other occupations. In addition, I could not hear any party music even outside the house, everywhere on the beach have seats but no one was dancing or playing loud music.
